Spinal Chords, Ryggradsmelodier, växte fram under ett par års tid. Jag fick idén under en kurs i offentlig utsmyckning i Västerås 1990. Under arbetet med formbygget till den första spiralen upptäckte jag fotografiska möjligheter. Några år senare bestod verket av sex unika spiraler och ett antal digitala cibachromefoton i färg. Spinal Chords, melodies of the spine, is a work that developed during a couple of years. I got the idea at a course in Public Art in Västerås in 1990. During the construction of the cast form for the first spiral I discovered photographic possibilities. A couple of years later the work consisted of six unique spirals and a number of digital cibachrome colour prints. Note all three collages to the left!
